Proposed course: The course starts in front of the main entrance to Homewood High School. It follows South Lakeshore, takes a left onto University Park Place and at approximately 0.5 miles joins the Lakeshore Trail. The course follows Lakeshore Trail until just before Brookwood Blvd., turns around and follows the trail until Old Montgomery Highway. The course takes a left onto Old Montgomery Highway and follows it briefly before turning back onto South Lakeshore for the final stretch back to Homewood High School.
